Brandi Lowery, the Old Fashioned Barrister, is a Dallas native but currently resides in Houston, Texas, where she is a licensed attorney. She is an executive bourbon steward and an Edu-taster for Whiskey University. She holds several whiskey certifications and is well-known within the whiskey community.

She has been featured in several magazines, such as Voyage Magazine, Shout Out Magazine, and Canvas Rebel Magazine. She loves to make old fashioneds in her kitchen, teach others about the history of whiskey, and entertain guests by showing off her knowledge and skills.

This book is for those who like to experiment and have fun mixing cocktails. You don’t have to be a mixologist or a bartender. This book aims to bring you into my world, which is stepping outside of the practice of law to show my love for old-fashioned bourbon and whiskey.
